I had the opportunity to go to my friends wedding in San Diego a few weeks ago. We've been friends for over 3 yrs now and met in a way that most girlfriends do NOT meet. See, I dated this pilot when I was a flight attendant, years ago. About a month after we broke up he started dating Christina and I started dating one of Christina's friends. We had heard about each other for months and it wasn't until after we both broke up with these guys that we finally met! Our friendship was instant. Soon after we met, she took me to Vegas with her roommates and we bonded and have been friends ever since. I just absolutely adore this girl and am so happy she has found her perfect guy! She met Ross on LDS Link Up. I know, kinda cheesy but how else was she supposed to meet the most perfect guy for her when he lives in Scotland? Yes, he's from Scotland and even has the Scottish accent. He' so perfect for Christina and we all love him!
Laralee (my sister) and I flew out the night before and stayed with one of my dearest friends who lives there, Daniella. I was disappointed that Alan couldn't come with me but it was fun to have a girls weekend! On drive from the O.C. to San Diego we past (and this in no exaggeration!) over 100 cop cars and motorcycle cops escorting a Hurst. They had stopped traffic to get through and as we past them, this is the shot I got. I couldn't get all the cop cars in a row but it looked so cool! We swear up and down it was Michael Jackson's Hurst. Who else would get such treatment in Cali? Not to mention 2 limos right behind the Hurst.I swear it was him and I'm sticking to that story! ;)
Christina and Ross were sealed in the San Diego Temple. It was the sweetest sealing I have ever been to (besides mine, of course!) It was touching to see these two looking at each other with such love and the spirit was so strong that day. I was so sad Alan couldn't be there to experience that moment with me.
