My little brother's wedding

My little brother got married on Friday (the 13th) and let me just say it was one of the best wedding's I've ever been too! I have been so excited for this day, you'd think it was my wedding day! We absolutely LOVE his new wife and couldn't wait for her to join our family. Rebecca is one of the kindest people you'll ever meet and it's so fun to see them so in love.

Watching them get married was so sweet. She couldn't stop staring at him and the way they looked at each other was so tender, with so much love. It was so sweet! We've always felt our little brother, Dayne, is so perfect and wondered who he'd end up with. He has certainly met his match. She couldn't be more perfect for him. It's been so fun getting to know her and watching them grow together.

I took a billion pictures on the big day. I tried to narrow them down but still posted a ton.
The night before the big day the two families had a dinner at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. We each got up and said what we loved about the couple. It was a great night!
The next morning we went to the sealing, which was at SLC. Then took a ton a pictures and then split off for the afternoon. My family went to lunch together, went home got changed and then headed up the canyon for the dinner/reception. They had it at St. Eriksen Lodge in Deer Valley. WOW! What a beautiful reception! We took pictures and then had appetizers and drinks while we mingled and waited for guests to arrive, then had a nice sit down dinner followed by dancing and hanging out. What a fun night! You know it's a fun wedding when your 7 yr old stepson announces on the way home that he didn't want to leave and he wants to do that again. It was such a blast for all of us!

Here are some pictures from the big day.....

Pictures taken at the temple as we waited for them to come out

I love his facial expression in this picture

This one is pretty great too!

The couple's first dance

Then we danced the night away. Here are some fun shots of everyone.

Doing the Justin Beiber 'Oh Baby' song and dance. How do they all know this?

This is exactly how I felt after a few hours on the dance floor. Tuckered out!

Dayne getting ready to leave for the night....The brother in laws (Dave and Alan) whispered something to him, wished him luck and had a group hug. Ha ha! I thought it was so sweet!

Blowing bubbles and getting ready to say good bye!

Not the best shot but the only one I could get of them running to the car through the tunnel of people and bubbles. As they left my 7yr old nephew asked his mom, "why did they want to leave so fast when we were having such a fun time?" One day he'll understand. One day ;).

Waiting for the staff to bring our cars around

I'm so sad the day is over. I feel like I did after my wedding day. Sad it had to come to an end. We are SO excited to have Rebecca as one of our sisters! We love her so much and are so happy for Dayne and Rebecca!
