All about AJ

I don't blog as much as I'd like to these days. It's kind of hard to do with a baby! Let me rephrase that. It's hard to do with a TEETHING baby. Yes, he started teething at 11 weeks. Poor guy! I thought I'd hurry and jump on here while he's napping. I have to choose these days what to do while he's sleeping. Today it's blogging. Cleaning and laundry will have to take a back seat for today!

I'm loving being a mom. It doesn't hurt that I have such an easy going baby. AJ turned 3 months old on January 4th and I'm really trying to enjoy every day and every little milestone as I know it goes by way too fast. I had to put away the 0-3 month clothes and pull out the 3-6months on Saturday. That was hard! I had to buy the bigger size diapers too. I just want him to stay little forever! Here are a few things I am loving about my little guy:

1. I love that he is starting to give me kisses. Big, fat and slobbery kisses. Melts my heart!

2. I love that when I've been gone and come back to get him, he just stares at me as if he's thinking, "There you are! Where did you go?" He stares at me with a grin on his face and can't take his eyes off me.

3. I love the way he stares and grins at me when I'm holding him and talking to other people.

4. I love how much he talks right now. He talks so much at times and so loud that I had to take him out of Young Women's on Sunday because he was being so loud. Love it!

5. I love that he snorts. It really is so cute!

6. My favorite thing to do with him is feed him. He loves it when I keep him close to my face, whisper in his ear and he loves to hold my hand, playing with my hand and caressing it. It's the best bonding moment we have. I look forward to his feedings.

7. I love how easy going he is. Not much upsets him. He's just like his dad. Really easy going, go with the flow but when he's mad, he is mad! When he wakes up for his 3 am feeding, he stops crying when I walk in his room because he knows his food is coming. I pick him up and put him on the changing table and he screams bloody murder, letting me know he is really mad because I am not feeding him right away.

8. I love the way he stretches with his arms over head and little bum sticks straight out. Love, love, love it!

9. I love when he takes a bath he stares at me concerned about whats going on but every now again will give me smile and then go back to his concerned face.

10. I love how when he's crying he'll stop to smile at me and go back to crying.

11. I love how he sticks his tongue out when he cries, smiles, laughs, talks and kisses.

12. I love how he just wants to snuggle and cuddle with me all the time because he doesn't feel good these days because his mouth hurts him so much.

I love this little guy so much. I feel so lucky to be his mama. Here is are some fun, resent pictures of him....

He HATES to be swaddled but if he's not, he wakes himself up constantly by hitting himself in the face.

I put him down for 5 minutes and this is what I came back to. Ha ha!

When we are going to leave somewhere and he needs to go down for nap I put him in his car seat. I have to rock him because he hates being put in his car seat and gets really upset and can't settle down. He loves the rocking and it puts him right to sleep.

Yes, that is a toilet in the back. Don't judge me. Sometimes I just really want to take a bath so he comes in with me and hangs out.

This was how he looked the first few times in his bumbo chair. Didn't know how to hold his neck up . Pretty funny!

He loves his cousin, Alexis and she loves him.

I can't wait to see what every stage in his life brings. I couldn't imagine my life without him. Love this kid! He really has spoiled me!
