Alan's parents live in Texas so we decided to take a little trip to visit them. We've had Justin for the summer and thought it was the perfect time for a little vacation.This was AJ's first plane ride. He was such a champ! Didn't even phase him that he was on a plane and even sat pretty still the whole time. The only melt downs were during our lay overs but that's just because he'd been up for hours! At one lay over he'd been up for 8-9 hours and had had enough.
Not sure what face he's making here but hilarious!
We spent a lot of our time in their pool. AJ would have stayed in the pool the whole time if I would've let him. He had a blast! If we weren't swimming, we were napping, reading (The Help. Love it!), going to the best Mexican Restaurants Texas has and spending time together.
And this was when we finally got back to SLC after a 4 hour lay over in Vegas. Exhausted!
On a different note, Justin and I have been bonding and having the best time together. I love this kid so much! Only 5 more days till he goes back home. Not something we want to think about just yet.
