My New Hair Cut and My 31st (early) Birthday Celebration

Well I did it! I cut my hair off 7 inches! I still can't believe I did it. It's been years since I had short hair. (Well short hair by my standards.) It was an impulse. I decided like an hour before my appointment that I wanted to cut it. Well my friend Rachel talked me into it. My hair dresser knows me well enough to know I freak when I feel she's cut too much hair off. So she only cut 3 inches. I went back a week later to have her cut off 4 more inches. I love the change! It feels good when I use shampoo and only need a little. It's a fun change.

Saturday night was a blast! My friend Bryn has a house up in Midway. She offered to throw a little slumber party to celebrate my birthday. My birthday isn't until the 10th but we celebrated a little early. I had a bunch of my old roommates up. We had such a blast! We ate a lot! A lot of good food. Sat around until 2pm and talked. Then got up Sunday morning, made breakfast and talked until noon. Then headed home. It was such a fun time. I love my girlfriends and have the best time every time we get together. Thank you Bryn for making it all happen!

These are my old roommates Angie (on the left) and Bryn on the right. We were flight attendants together and had a lot of fun times together. A lot of fun trips, late night talks, etc... I love my girls!

These girls are sisters. Hailey on the left and Carrie on the right. We had a lot of fun bonding moments.

My sista in the middle! I love her so much! And Christina. Christina and I didn't live together but dated the same guy. That is how we met. She is getting married this summer to a Scottish guy. I'm so excited for her!

Just a little preview of some of the food we had. So good!

In the action....

Eating dinner, catching up and reminiscin...

(I'm missing a picture of my friends Haley, Kelsey and Marie. They are here somewhere.)

And of course the desserts. What's a girls night without amazing desserts? Lets be serious!

Did I mention how much I love my girls? It was such a fun early birthday celebration. Thank you again ladies for helping me kick off my 31st birthday in style!
